Ezra's voice on xylene

Yesterday I met with some other Flickrites to check out the Bostwick Cotton Gin Festival. There were easily a couple thousand people there, which is impressive for a town of 354.

(The photos I've posted so far at writing this post are just of Bostwick. Estimate I'll end up posting another dozen before I'm done.)

We didn't stay for the parade, but instead ventured over to the Nolan House (Evan's awesome photo of the house). There were some donkeys and mules next to an old store. Then we stopped at Rutledge, a fertilizer factory in Newborn, and Mansfield. It was a fun, productive day.

If you could only drink one beverage for the rest of your life (not including water), which one would you choose?

As a born and bred Southerner, the only appropriate answer is sweet tea. I base the restaurants I visit regularly on the quality of their sweet tea.

Wild Carrot aka Queen Anne's Lace aka aka aka... I'm tired of trying to identify this one. Obviously if I'm going to photograph flowers I need to either take an identification class or acquire some better resources for determining what they are.

This little snake was found in the hallway at work. I thought the commotion was a continuation over the geyser in a sink until GH asked if I brought my pet to work. Went over the see and snagged this before maintenance took it away. Hope he enjoys life on the other side of the road. I wish I had brought my dSLR. It really would have broought out the details. This okay I guess for automatic fash. Here is this one large.
